Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 11th, Martha flies to LA and joins “rock royalty” Steve Stevens, Billy Morrison, Billy Duffy, Mark McGrath, Zakk Wylde, and others for a “Heroes Helping Heroes” 9/11 fundraiser, hosted by Jack Osbourne and Pauly Perrette. On the 4th of July, Martha and the band will play one of their biggest shows this year, headlining the Ford Paddock stage at the Del Mar Fair in Southern California. Martha and the band will kick off the day with an interview/performance on Good Morning San Diego.
Standing room only at the historic Tally Ho in Leesburg, and a fantastic performance from Martha and the band. Great sets from Gene Love Jezebel and Bow Wow Wow, an incredible kickoff for the East Coast swing.

Martha Davis presents an AMA award to Stevie Wonder.
Martha on awards ceremonies: “I’ve done a bit of that. It’s all kinda goofy to me. Obviously, you see the worth in receiving an award from your peers….that’s sweet and that’s nice, but music is so much its own reward. It’s like you’re so lucky to be doing it in the first place, and it’s so great what you do, to have awards on top of great music is overkill I think.” –m
