Rosanna Arquette and Linda Perry both introduce Martha and the band at the occasion of this iconic venue’s 50th Anniversary!”
Amazing start with the sold out show last night at Tupelo Music Hall another one tonight at the storied Johnny D’s where Aerosmith likes to warm up for their tours. Here is the world premiere of the “Cry Baby” clip just for those that pledge and for those attending the show at Johnny D’s on August 22nd. See why there is so much buzz around the bands first ever live Blu-ray/DVD concert film.
Did you know that the release of the music video for The Motels’ song, “Only The Lonely”, coincided with the emergence of MTV? Because of her performance in this video, Martha Davis won an award for “Best Performance in a Music Video” at the 1982 American Music Awards!
Check out an awesome interview Martha did this past weekend at the 80’s in the Park Festival in Melbourne, Florida with MRDTV.com!
There is some exciting concert footage being assembled by Martha’s team – HD w/ great audio. But until that’s ready, here is a YouTube video that really captures the amazing performances audiences are getting these days from Martha, Brady on bass, Clint on guitar, Eric on drums, Nic on keyboards, and in this case, Marty Jourard on sax. Next up is the 80’s in the Park festival in Melbourne, Florida on Sunday 9/29. After Martha’s House of Blues benefit with all those world-class hard rockers this past Wednesday, it’s no surprise to see her mixing it up at this festival with Slaughter, WARRANT, Molly Hatchet and more!
